Information for Honors College Applicants in Education

Students in secondary education, use the worksheet for the college of your major. Elementary and special education students, use the information and worksheet shown below. Kinesiology majors, go to the Kinesiology page.

HELPFUL HINTS:
	Courses taken for your major/college requirements must be SEPARATE from courses used toward satisfying the Honors College general education requirement EXCEPT in the natural science area for students with an integrated science teaching major.
	Courses taken for your planned program and must be SEPARATE from courses used for general education EXCEPT for the creative arts course.
	Courses for an additional major or for a specialization MAY be used for general education, subject to adviser approval.
	Try to plan for Honors work that may include but does not rely solely on Honors Options.
