Parking

Friday, April 24 MSU has a new parking ramp on campus, very close to the Union. There is metered parking for the public in the basement and first floor. You can enter this ramp from eastbound Grand River Ave. but spots are limited. You can also pay to park in any City of East Lansing parking lot or ramp. For more information on off-campus parking, including a map, go to http://www.cityofeastlansing.com, click on "Parking-Downtown" on the dropdown menu and then click on "Map".
Saturday, April 25 Parking is free in most campus parking spots.

Driving Directions to the MSU Union

From Detroit: Take I-96 west to Okemos, exit 110. Turn right (north) onto Okemos Road. Turn left (west) onto Grand River Avenue.  Turn left at the Collingwood entrance to campus.  Make an immediate right onto East Circle Drive and follow to Union. 
From Flint: Take I-69 south to Lansing to HWY 127 South. Take HWY 127 south to the Trowbridge Rd. exit. Turn left onto Harrison Rd. and go approximately 2 miles to Michigan Ave. Turn right onto Michigan Ave., which will merge with Grand River Ave. The Union Building will be on the southeast corner of Abbott Rd. and Grand River Ave.
From Grand Rapids: Take I-96 east to Lansing to I-496. Take I-496 east to the Trowbridge Rd. exit.  Turn left onto Harrison Rd. and go approximately 2 miles to Michigan Ave. Turn right onto Michigan Ave., which will merge with Grand River Ave. The Union Building will be on the southeast corner of Abbott Rd. and Grand River Ave.
From Kalamazoo & Battle Creek: Take I-94 east to I-69 North to I-496 East. Take I-496 east to the Trowbridge Rd. exit. Turn left onto Harrison Rd. and go approximately 2 miles to Michigan Ave. Turn right onto Michigan Ave., which will merge with Grand River Ave. The Union Building will be on the southeast corner of Abbott Rd. and Grand River Ave.
